Will every visit include a pelvic examination?
No. The need for an examination depends on your concern. Dr. Tessa will explain what is recommended and ask for your consent before proceeding.
What should I bring?
Bring a medicine list, prior test or imaging results, your menstrual dates if relevant, and any questions you would like to cover.
Can I consult through telemedicine?
Many concerns can begin with an online consultation. Some symptoms or decisions will still require an in-person examination or testing.
When symptoms are urgent
Severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, heavy bleeding, fainting, chest pain, difficulty breathing, or a possible pregnancy emergency require prompt assessment. Contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.
